Job Title:
Clinical Research Assistant

Reports to:
Dr. Sam Hanna and Practice Administrator

Location:
Dermatology on Bloor, 29 Park Road, Toronto, ON, M4W 2N2

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Process bloodwork and ship samples in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Electronic data capture entry: meticulously enter data collected from study visits into appropriate database
  • Use a database to assist the lead research coordinator with patient recruitment
  • Follow up with Principal Investigators for completion of documentation
  • Assist the Lead Research Coordinator responding to any audit findings and implement approved recommendations.
  • Prepare and turnover examination rooms for study coordinators.
  • Maintain and order study supplies.
  • Assist coordinators in the facilitation of patient visits.

Qualifications:

  • GCP / ICH training
  • Relevant research experience in a busy private practice or hospital setting
  • Willingness to undergo sitespecific training
  • Phlebotomy training preferred
  • Data entry experience preferred
  • Experience using electronic medical records (preferably Accuro) and the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Positive attitude, selfstarter, good team player
  • Strong attention to detail

Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
