In the Richter Family Office Services (FOS), we act as personal CFO's for high-net-worth families.

We offer a customized approach for each family, which includes services such as cash management, lifestyle management, integrated financial planning opportunities as well as day-to-day accounting and compliance needs.


A day in the life of an Accounting Specialist:

  • Investment bookkeeping including reconciliation with broker statements and tax reporting slips.
  • Full cycle bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, bank and credit card reconciliation and month end journal entries.
  • Preparation of supporting documents for yearend preparation for internal accounting team
  • Correspondence with Canada Revenue Agency and Revenue Quebec, as required.

What we are looking for:

  • University degree, college diploma or diploma of vocational studies (DEP).
  • Investment bookkeeping (an asset)
  • 2 to 5 years of relevant bookkeeping experience
  • Have a selfstarter attitude with welldeveloped time management skills and the commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Have proven problem solving capabilities including ingenuity, analytical skills, and creativity.
  • Possess exceptional technical skills and a fine attention to detail.
  • Have strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to organize, prepare and clearly present information to our clients and team.
  • Public accounting experience will be a definite plus.
