Training & Support Specialist

Business & Learning Technologies Department

100% Regular

Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week

ESP Level 6 - $43,749 to $55,890

Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Developing knowledge of new software systems to be implemented by researching products, receiving training from software firms, refining program information to provide training and support to Board Personnel.

Present formal and informal training sessions for individuals and/or groups.

Qualifications:


Community college program in Computer Science, Technology or Business, with a minimum of 3 years of related experience and with demonstrated training/presentation skills (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered).

Experience or training in the area of adult education.

Analytical and research skills

Organization and time management skills to prioritize work and manage multiple priorities

Written communication skills for report writing, documentation and training materials

Interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of a team, and exchange and clarify information to staff

Presentation skills for facilitating workshops

Ability to work independently and learn new technologies upon demand

Access to reliable transportation for local travel (to other Board sites).
