Our company has seen tremendous growth over the past several years and we are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our growing team.

Reporting directly to the Office Manager, the successful hire will be responsible for all payroll functions for a mid-sized business.


Requirements:

  • Relevant postsecondary education or two years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience using Sage 50
  • Extremely confident working in Microsoft Excel
  • Well organized and detail oriented
  • Able to process transactions accurately in large volumes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good work ethic and positive attitude

Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage all aspects of payroll, including inputting hours, calculating deductions, processing new hires and terminations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely payroll records and reports.
  • Preparing ROE and T4 slips.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee questions about payroll and benefits.
  • Other duties as required
