Job Description:

Here is a none non-exhaustive list of task that might be ask of you:

  • Make sandwiches, prep for the next shift, restock and keep the fridge and freezer organize and clean.
  • Follow the food safety standards and the brand standards
  • Do the daily cleaning of the equipment and designated areas
  • Perform any other tasks that may from time to time be requested by the supervisor
  • Responsible for performing work according to safe work practices by learning the safe way to do a job and seeking instructions when in doubt
  • Excellent customer service
  • Under the general supervision of the First Cook, prepares and cooks foodstuffs in quantities according to menu and number of persons to be served
  • Cleans and maintains dining room area including shelves and floors
  • Cleans and sets dining room tables and fills beverage, salt, sugar and other condiment containers
  • Cleans and maintains supplies for steam and salad tables, such as dishes and utensils
  • Prepares coffee and cold beverages, and may be required to work on steam tables from time to time
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

About You


During your mandate, you will be responsible for setting up breakfast and lunch, preparing the necessary cooking for the services while following the instructions of the chef manager, guaranteeing the smooth running of the services while following the instructions of the chef manager and ensuring the optimal use of the food.

You will be responsible for maintaining adequate communication with other team members, always keeping your work area clean and ensuring that everything is done according to the health and food safety standards of the MAPAQ as well as those established by management.

You will be required to properly identify and date all food items and participate in any other related tasks that may be requested by the supervisor from time to time.


What's next?


You must have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years related experience in this position, attention to detail, ability to work independently (will work alone in the kitchen for the first few hours of operation in the morning).

You have strong organizational skills, adhere to company specifications, excellent customer service skills. You have a good attitude and a good sense of team spirit.
