We are looking for an experienced marine technician to join our growing team. This is a full-time year-round position with very competitive pay, health benefits, tool and boot allowances and a Group Retirement Savings Plan.
Duties Include (but are not limited to)
- Testing performance of marine engines and electrical systems
- Performing all services on Outboards, Inboards and Sterndrives
- Troubleshooting electrical and engine complaints
- Ability to use diagnostic computers (Vodia, G3, Diacom)
- Replacing broken/worn out parts
- Ability to perform service bulletins per manufacturer specifications
- Repairs hydraulic and steering systems
- Winterizing and Summerizing all systems
- Follow company health and safety protocols
- Ability to work independent or in group
- Communication with office staff and Service Manager
- Any other duties as assigned
Skills and Training
- Marine technician certification is a plus
- Understanding of HIGH standards of technicalities and analytics
- Attention to detail
- Accurate in diagnostics and repairs
- Able to communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Valid Driver's License
- Valid Boaters License.
