Reporting to the Foreman, the individual will be responsible to support crews installing pipeline infrastructure in Delta, BC.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the successful completion of pipeline install project including support of excavating, debris removal, trenching, and site reinstatement
• Check pipe grade for conformance to requirements
• Handle and distribute construction materials (e.g. load and unload vehicles with supplies, equipment and construction materials; move tools, equipment and construction materials to and from work areas)
• Swamper/Spotter for equipment operators
• Firewatch
• Daylighting by hand
• Prepare and clean up construction site
• Multitask and perform in a fastpaced environment
• Perform other general labour duties and responsibilities as required
• Carry out manual labour duties such lifting and working with materials weighing up to 25kg
• Capacity for manual dexterity with physical strength and stamina
• Capability to work long hours per day in all weather conditions
• Strong interpersonal, team participation and communication skills
• Knowledge of working in trench boxes and shoring

This is a full-time role on a 5/2 schedule.

Salary:
$19.24-$31.65 per hour
