As a Lead Carpenter at Frontier, you will play a vital role in bringing our clients' visions to life by building custom decks, installing railings, constructing sunrooms, pergolas, and more.

About the Lead Carpenter:

As the Lead Carpenter you will be responsible for:

  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project specifications and material requirements.
  • Measure and calculate dimensions of project materials as needed.
  • Utilize hand tools, machines, or power tools to cut materials to measure.
  • Skillfully cut, smooth, and shape lumber and other materials to meet project specifications.
  • Construct custom decks using brown pressuretreated lumber, western red cedar, and PVC/composite materials.
  • Install custom railings made from wood, steel, and aluminum.
  • Build custom sunrooms, pergolas, and additions from the ground up, showcasing your craftsmanship.
  • Efficiently move necessary materials around the jobsite as assigned.
  • Ensure a clean and organized worksite by promptly cleaning up debris.
  • Maintain open and proactive communication with customers to provide project updates and address any concerns.
  • Take ownership of completing all remaining tasks to secure job completion, including warranty and repair work.
  • Conduct final quality inspections of completed projects, promptly addressing any necessary repairs.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to completing jobs in a timely manner to contribute to the company's profitability.

Working Conditions:

  • Monday to Friday; 44 hours per week
  • Duties will primarily be outdoors and may be exposed to varying weather conditions such as wet/humid conditions, hot/cold temperatures, snow etc.
  • Physical demands include, but are not limited to, standing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.

  • Proven experience in construction and carpentry, with a strong understanding of project specifications and material requirements.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
  • G license
  • Ability to accurately measure and calculate dimensions of materials.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, machines, and power tools to cut and shape materials.
  • Experience in building custom decks, installing railings, and constructing additions is highly desirable.
  • Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to effectively interact with customers and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to think on your feet in rapidly changing environments.
