Isidore Landscapes has been designing, installing, and maintaining landscapes in the lower mainland since 1994. We've built strong working relationships with construction companies, home builders, and landscape architects.

Our technical expertise allows us to interpret, create, install, and maintain varied and complex landscape designs for all types of landscape projects.


Position:

Project Coordinator / Estimator
Your position of Project Coordinator will be to assist management in ensuring the

quality and timely completion of landscaping projects, through estimating to award,

install and warranty post completion. Working in partnership with a project

manager/director and other site staff.

General Expectations:

  • Minimum of 1 year of construction experience as a project coordinator / estimator as well as previous site experience is preferred.
  • Postsecondary education is Required.
  • Strong Proficiency in: Excel, word, adobe, and Microsoft office programs
  • Reading and understand basic financial reports and accounting practices
  • Confident with numbers, formulas, and basic to medium complexity mathematical
practices

  • Motivated, fast learner, resourceful, able to adapt to different stress or conflict situations, team
player, works well with others & as a team player.

  • Extremely organized, structured, and punctual
  • Weekly workload of 40+ hours (8AM to 5PM Monday to Friday) or as per project requirements and expectations which may increase

Task & Responsibility:

  • Daily admin tasks and Management of asana and asana tasks
  • Updating of excel sheets for project scheduling, projections, and forecasting
  • Updating and management of excel sheets for suppliers, clients, subcontractors
  • Preparing site reports and deficiency reports after walkthroughs and site visits
  • Site Visits 12 days per week to gain a comprehensive understanding of site management,
details, crews and typical procedures, as well as coordination with foreman, quality control, documenting & site planning

  • Dayto day staffing and monthly / annual staffing outlooks
  • Assisting with implementation and sourcing new software to streamline communications and internal management
  • Project Submittal Management
  • Project Vender & Subcontractor Procurement, Negotiating and Securing
  • Review of details, specs, and drawings for comprehensive knowledge & understanding of each project
  • Plant coordination with the horticultural team such as:
  • Plant counts, submittals, and orders
  • Tree sourcing and orders
  • Deficiency Management coordinating to organize and complete deficiencies of all projects under management
  • Estimating, Bids, Sales, and Project Securement including:
  • Takeoffs
  • Building of quote in LMN / Quoting Software
  • Sourcing materials, vender & subcontractor pricing
  • Review and understanding of all project's specific details & scope of work
  • Meeting prior to start of quote and prior to submission with Project Director
  • Tender follow ups, management of bids and longterm workload planning
  • Tender meetings, negotiation, contract reviews and procurement
  • Dealing with daytoday orders, planning and coordination directly with foreman
  • Preparing of project closeout document, asbuilts, warranties and maintenance manuals &. Project handoff.
  • Post construction walkthroughs, warranty review and documentation
  • Budget reviews, monitoring of all expenditures and preparing monthly reports to submit to Project Director including breakdown of total costs, comparison to quote etc (separate to job costing)
  • Running total of budget, cost savings, subcon awards for periodic review of Project Director
    Job Type: Fulltime, Permanent, Hybrid.

Salary:
($26.00-$34.00 per hour)
