A position is available immediately to join an exciting and growing enterprise poised to make accessible next generation sequencing empowered cancer diagnostics widely available.

The Project Manager will implement large scale projects designed to improve access to cancer testing.

This will entail design of project deliverables, implementation of marketing tools, large amounts of external and internal communication with sophisticated customers, team members and patients.

The Project Manager will contribute to designing and implementing other cross-company projects as needs should arise.

The Project Manager will be responsible for facilitating the development of new products. Familiarity with the language, techniques, issues, and benefits associated with molecular testing in cancer are essential.


The Project Manager will work independently but will interact across the company with professionals in business, dry lab, wet lab, executives, software programmers, bioinformaticians, and clinical geneticists.


This is a full-time employment opportunity based in our Montreal or Vancouver office with the possibility of remote work in hybrid mode.

To be eligible for this position, an applicant must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

What y ou'll do

  • Manage the development of new cancer testing assays
  • Ensure the coordination of efforts and communication between multidisciplinary groups (lab, software, bioinformatics)
  • Track implementation of projects
  • Ensure the harmonious use of resources across the company
  • Externally facing communication with various stakeholders
  • Help in drafting the product development strategy
Who you are
-
Education:You hold a BSc, MSc, RN or PhD in science or equivalent combination of education and experience
-
Proven track record**:2-5 years working as a Project Manager in the Life Sciences and/or Diagnostics market.

Interpersonal skills:You have excellent communication skills
- written, verbal and non-verbal. You're considerate and have the ability to develop cooperative relationships with your team members and our external partners.

Presentation Skills:You can deliver effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences.

Driven:compelled to achieve sales targets.

Problem solver:can develop creative and effective solutions to solve complex issues.
