Full availability required (Days, Afternoons, Overnight):


  • week day and weekend availability
  • Create a supportive and collaborative environment in order to maximize clients' potential.
  • Role modeling, queuing and prompting effective communication skills
  • Participate in communitybased activities
  • Skill acquisition / assisting with social skills life skills
  • Assist in personal care
- follow PPE in homes

Qualifications

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize Mental Health Diagnosis
  • Behavioral Management

Open Availability (days, afternoons, overnights):

  • Current First Aid and CPR
  • Current Police check (within 3 months)
  • Certified in Safe Management or willing to obtain
  • Current drivers abstract

The
Personal Support Worker is responsible for providing a variety of supports including personal care, behaviour management, mental health support and etc.

to live their lives to their fullest potential. Other duties may include meal prepping, light housekeeping, detail note-taking among other tasks.

Salary:
From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • This position requires you to be available for days, evenings, nights, weekends and stat holidays. Can you do this?

  • Are you willing to do meal preparation and other household duties as assigned?

Experience:

  • Personal Care (toileting, bathing and Personal Care): 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Safe Management/CPI/equivalent (preferred)
  • Class G Licence (required)
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Check (required)
  • CPR Certification (required)
