As a Deployment (CDS) Workday Financials Consultant, a typical day may involve:

Overseeing all phases of client projects, from gathering requirements to project execution. Acting as a bridge between clients and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of Workday solutions. Leading a small team or taking on a leadership role within projects, as well as becoming the main Subject Matter Expert in Workday Financials. Thriving in a dynamic work environment that demands efficient and precise task completion. Employing effective methodologies to implement solutions while remaining adaptable to the evolving needs of clients. Providing top-notch customer service to instill confidence and satisfaction in our clients. Guiding projects through all project life cycle stages. Conducting requirements gathering sessions to refine Workday configurations. Analyzing, configuring, and documenting intricate business processes and requirements. Conducting configuration and business process reviews with clients. Testing and refining Workday setups to ensure alignment with client needs. Troubleshooting business processes, logic, and configurations. Meeting task deadlines in line with project deliverables and seeking guidance when needed. This role serves as a stepping stone towards a Senior Consultant role in Workday.

Required Experience:

Possession of a Workday Financials Certification is advantageous. Previous hands-on experience (3 to 5 years) in implementing financial systems like PeopleSoft, SAP, ADP, Oracle E-Business, Ultipro, or other SaaS platforms. Prior consulting experience either internally or with a consulting/software firm. Proficiency in translating business requirements into complex system configurations.

Preferred Experience:

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data transformation using advanced formulas. Strong presentation and facilitation skills. Ability to grasp project plans and identify resource needs for tasks or responsibilities. Understanding of IT's impact on business and operational plans. Effective multitasking with a sense of urgency in addressing immediate needs. Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Collaborative teamwork mentality with a readiness to assist and share knowledge. Embracing an entrepreneurial approach by recognizing and leveraging opportunities for organizational improvement. Agility in fast-paced environments and a willingness to adapt to changes. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to travel up to 50% as needed.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Finance.
