  • Management of Sales Representatives and goal setting activities
  • Management of existing key accounts
  • Effectively and proactively communicate with suppliers, customers, vendors, and all other internal departments
  • Assist Accounting with month end financial closing
  • Initiate costsaving efforts

  • New Business Development and Continuous Improvement project activities with metal and plastic recycling
  • Review and negotiate purchase and sale contracts for all vendors and suppliers

  • Maintain health and safety and ISO compliance
  • Assist with departmental recruitment, training, and development as needed
  • Travel within southern Ontario to visit suppliers, customers, and vendors on a regular, as needed basis
  • Attend Trade Shows as part of new business development
  • Actively participate in, promote, and manage Kaizen activities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience in recycling (metal and/or plastic) industry is preferred but not mandatory
  • Works proactively without requiring direction all the time
  • Able to perform detailed analytical work in order to identify issues and implement action plans, countermeasures.
  • Ability to work quickly, meet deadlines, handle work related stress, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Thrives within a dynamic, multicultural environment
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Suite of Products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to create presentations and present utilizing Excel and PowerPoint at a high level
  • 57 years of experience in Sales
  • Participate in and contribute to innovation development
  • Able to travel within Southern Ontario 3040% of the time. Some international travel possible (USA or other)
