Accounting Administrator to our team
Purpose
Manage the day-to-day operations of the vendor invoices, vendor management, monitor aging vendor balances, and payment management
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for Accounts Payable processing and validating correct approvals are received.
- Ensure all documents are prepared and validated for the Accounts Payable cheque runs.
- Responsible Corporate Credit Card process and validation of approvals.
- Ensure all Employee Expenses are submitted accurately and timely for processing.
- Monitor aging vendor balance and recommendations for payments
- Perform assigned monthend reconciliations functions.
- Generating reports and statements as per management requests
- Ad hoc duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent attention to detail, records management and problem solving skills
- Strong data entry with skill and accuracy including organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel is required and working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
- Effective interpersonal and strong ability to build relationships
- Flexible to changing business conditions and a fastpast work environment
- Previous experience in a multicompany environment is an asset
- Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
