Accounting Administrator to our team

Purpose
Manage the day-to-day operations of the vendor invoices, vendor management, monitor aging vendor balances, and payment management

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Accounts Payable processing and validating correct approvals are received.
  • Ensure all documents are prepared and validated for the Accounts Payable cheque runs.
  • Responsible Corporate Credit Card process and validation of approvals.
  • Ensure all Employee Expenses are submitted accurately and timely for processing.
  • Monitor aging vendor balance and recommendations for payments
  • Perform assigned monthend reconciliations functions.
  • Generating reports and statements as per management requests
  • Ad hoc duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent attention to detail, records management and problem solving skills
  • Strong data entry with skill and accuracy including organizational skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel is required and working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook
  • Effective interpersonal and strong ability to build relationships
  • Flexible to changing business conditions and a fastpast work environment
  • Previous experience in a multicompany environment is an asset
  • Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset
