As a Revit Technician / Home Designer at Willson Design, you will play a pivotal role in our design process, utilizing your technical expertise to create intricate 3D models and building plans that set the stage for realizing our clients' dreams.

You will collaborate closely with our talented team of designers to turn their visions into reality by employing your strong technical acumen and design flair.

• Collaborate with designers to produce detailed 3D models and documentation using Revit and AutoCAD software.
• Work independently and collaboratively with a team of other Designers and Drafting Technicians to solve complex problems and find creative solutions.
• Measure existing residential and commercial buildings and produce asbuilt drawings based on site visit.
• Create stunning visualizations and renderings that effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to continually enhance your skills and provide cuttingedge solutions.

• A minimum of 58 years of experience as a Revit Technician, Drafting Technician, or Home Designer in a reputable building design firm.
• Proficiency in using Revit, AutoCAD, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your past projects and ability to create visually compelling designs.
• Indepth knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction methods.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members and clients.
• Full understanding of BC BUILDING CODE Part 9 including 9.32 and 9.3
• Understanding of BCBC Part 3 is an asset
• Ability to conduct a full zoning analysis and project feasibility study

• Familiar with various 3D rendering software (Twinmotion, Enscape, Lumion)
• Ability to visualize 3D objects
