The instructor is the educational leader in the classroom and will ensure that the school's program and curricula are implemented in a way that maximizes student-learning experiences.
They organize and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.
The teacher is responsible for the supervision and evaluation of all students within his/her teaching assignment.
Working collaboratively with a team of educational professionals, the teacher will demonstrate a strong commitment to the planning for improvement process in support of student achievement and reports directly to the Head of Academics and Director.

Job Requirements:
Job duties
- Follow the course objectives as well as the course curriculum/ lesson plans
- Follow the lesson plans and assesses student work in a timely fashion giving feedback for improvement
- Administers tests to evaluate students' progress and records results
- Keep and maintain attendance records
- Participates in faculty and professional meetings, educational conferences, and teacher training workshops
- Performs related duties, for example sponsoring one or more activities or student organizations, assisting pupils in
Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
- Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws, policies and LLI regulations
plans and activities
Deal tactfully with staff, students, parents and the public
Requirement
- Undergraduate university degree
- TESOL training certification recognized by TESL Canada is required
- TESL Ontario OCELT accreditation is required
- Energetic and passionate about teaching; strong communication and mentoring skills when interacting with students
- Reliable and committed to the agreed upon work schedule
- Cooperative and open to constructive feedback
- Previous employer reference needed
- Provide clean criminal background record
