BC Emergency Services (BCEHS) is seeking to recruit a manager to help lead Clinical Operations in the Victoria area.

What you'll do:

  • Serve as an influential leader and key member of our clinical operations management team
  • Travel within your district, connecting with your team, both in the boardroom and in the field
  • Provide strategic and operational leadership in a 24/7 operation
  • Work closely with team members from across the organization and with external stakeholders to identify risks and develop evidencebased solutions
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate outofhospital health services using data to inform intelligent decisions
  • Ensure patient care is efficient, effective and safe
  • Lead, coach and mentor supervisors and front line staff
  • Promote a patientfocused, supportive and respectful culture
  • Foster an environment of continuous learning and innovation
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate solutions to improve services in your area of responsibility, and provincially

What you bring:

Qualifications and Certifications

  • At least five years of progressively more responsible experience in health care, or the delivery of emergency management services or other complex care settings
  • A valid paramedic or other relevant professional license to practice in BC is desirable (or out of province equivalent)
