Role overview
We are seeking psychometrists who are passionate about supporting folks through their mental health journey, with an emphasis on supporting neurodivergent individuals.
A day in the life
- Provide a combination of ADHD/ASD/Mental Health and potentially psychoeducational assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults.
- Engage in conducting parts of clinical interviews, test administration, scoring, file review, and report writing.
- Followup and track pending questionnaires and relevant client files (such as report cards and past psychological reports).
- Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure ease of access to services for clients.
- Complete relevant clinical notes and reports within a timely manner, adhering to CPO standards.
- Participate in clinical consultation and supervision.
- Work under the supervision of a registered member of The College of Psychologists of Ontario.
- Work both individually and collaboratively within the clinical team.
- Adhere to PHIPA guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.
Qualifications/Experience
- Master's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, psychotherapy, or social work.
- At least 2 years' experience administering and scoring psychometric tests and questionnaires.
- Experience interpreting standardized testing results, report writing, and identifying relevant recommendations to support clients.
- Excellent writing, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working with neurodivergent folks, such as those with ASD, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities is an asset.
- The ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
- Prior experience administering the ADOS2 is an asset.
- Knowledge of the Jane App is an asset.
