Role overview

We are seeking psychometrists who are passionate about supporting folks through their mental health journey, with an emphasis on supporting neurodivergent individuals.

A day in the life

• Provide a combination of ADHD/ASD/Mental Health and potentially psychoeducational assessment services to children, adolescents, and adults.
• Engage in conducting parts of clinical interviews, test administration, scoring, file review, and report writing.
• Followup and track pending questionnaires and relevant client files (such as report cards and past psychological reports).
• Collaborate with the administrative team to ensure ease of access to services for clients.
• Complete relevant clinical notes and reports within a timely manner, adhering to CPO standards.
• Participate in clinical consultation and supervision.
• Work under the supervision of a registered member of The College of Psychologists of Ontario.
• Work both individually and collaboratively within the clinical team.
• Adhere to PHIPA guidelines and maintain client confidentiality.

Qualifications/Experience

• Master's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, psychotherapy, or social work.
• At least 2 years' experience administering and scoring psychometric tests and questionnaires.
• Experience interpreting standardized testing results, report writing, and identifying relevant recommendations to support clients.
• Excellent writing, organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working with neurodivergent folks, such as those with ASD, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities is an asset.
• The ability to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the clinic.
• Prior experience administering the ADOS2 is an asset.
• Knowledge of the Jane App is an asset.
