The Strategic Partnerships Sales Division of the Institutional Sales and Service Department at Mackenzie Investments is currently seeking applications for the role of District Sales Associate. Reporting to the Director of Partner Sales, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for providing administrative support to sales teams and the Director of Partner Sales.

This Support Involves

  • Overseeing territory management by preparing, maintaining, and forecasting sales coverage
  • Coordinating territory/corporate events, branch meetings, and product manager presentations
  • Ordering promotional items for clients
  • Preparing various correspondences, special mailings, client reports, and CE credit letters
  • Ordering team product/marketing materials
  • Managing incoming client mail and emails, handling calls, and responding to inquiries/requests
  • Assisting in organizing special events, CRM campaigns, and attending social events with the team
  • Maintaining client information in the CRM database
  • Conducting weekly team meetings with prepared agendas
  • Arranging all travel arrangements for sales teams
  • Presenting monthly internal team reports to the Director of Partner Sales
  • Handling Sales Practices requests and team expenses
  • Implementing business processes to enhance territory management efficiency and consistency
  • Providing operational support with a keen focus on detail and time management

The following qualifications will aid the successful candidate in fulfilling these responsibilities:

  • Relevant post-secondary education
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational abilities
  • Capability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Knowledge of the mutual fund industry
  • Preferable certifications in CSC/IFC and familiarity with National Instrument NI
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems and Concur
  • Familiarity with Mackenzie products and processing rules
