Rentals, Custodial & Transportation Coordinator:

The Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows School District (SD42) is looking for qualified applicants seeking employment in a high paced work environment as a highly organized Rentals, Custodial & Transportation Coordinator on-site at our Maintenance Office.

Reporting to the Manager of Operations, this position provides a variety of clerical services including processing rental agreements, preparing high proficiency excel reporting, being responsible for coordinating various aspects of student transportation, and overseeing the coordination of the custodial department including work schedules.

SD42 meets the learning needs of over 15,000 students of all ages in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows, and is defined by its determination to keep student learning and growth at the heart of all its decisions.

With an annual budget of over $200M and over 2,000 staff, the school district provides K-12 educational services in 22 elementary schools, six secondary schools, and two alternate schools.

It also provides a variety of certificate programs and relevant quality life-long learning opportunities through Ridge Meadows College and Continuing Education.

The successful applicant will possess:

• Successful completion of Grade 12 plus a 2year diploma in Business Administration or a related field.
• Two (2) years' experience in an office environment with demonstrated experience in administrative services.
• Excellent organizational skills including the ability to plan, prioritize and multitask.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and harmoniously with staff, contractors, suppliers, visitors and the general public.
• Demonstrated ability to work at the level of independence and with the degree of initiative appropriate to the position.

This is a full time continuing position, 35 hours per week, following a 12 month schedule. The rate of pay is $29.15/Hour plus comprehensive benefits package. This position is on-site without the option for remote work.
