INTERMEDIATE TECHNICAL ANALYST, NETWORK

As a key member of the technology team, you are responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of a complex and diverse infrastructure which includes the wired and wireless data network for our ship board and land based networks. You work with other team members in the areas of routing and switching, security, wireless, and voice. You will provide technical expertise and problem solving in the areas of performance management, network administration, bandwidth utilization and capacity planning.

You have an excellent understanding of how to efficiently build, maintain and support complex network environments, in addition to experience with Cisco product lines including routers, switches and firewalls. You have experience with wireless data networks and their associated protocols, in order to provide support to ensure the stability of the wireless data network through spread spectrum radio x), cellular, and satellite. You have experience with various network security technologies, including intrusion prevention/detection, VPN, firewalls and NG-FWS.

You have a Degree or Diploma in Computer Systems or an IT related discipline. Cisco, CCNA or CCNP certifications would be an asset.

You have excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills, with an ability to consistently achieve a high level of customer satisfaction. You have a proven ability to develop and implement solutions and to effect organizational change in an energetic, fast-paced environment. You are focused on delivering effective quality technical solutions to meet the organizations needs. Preference given to candidates having experience with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) and related voice technologies such as Unity Voicemail, voice gateways, Jabber, and administering Cisco WebEx.
