Men's Locker room
Monday-Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm

As a Laundry Attendant, your attention to detail will show your co-workers and our members that you are committed to providing outstanding member experiences.

The energy and enthusiasm you display while moving through the club will create a fun and enjoyable place to workout & socialize, while keeping in accordance with Health & Safety standards.


Laundry Attendant duties

  • Collect dirty towels and restocking shelves with clean towels.
  • Collect towel bins
  • Sort all linens and treat stains
  • Engage with members and guests, respond and execute members requests
  • Load all laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents
  • Take wet, clean items and dry as directed
  • Sort and fold clean dried items
  • Maintain inventory of all cleaning supplies and communicate needs to manager
  • Maintain a clean and safe laundry area
  • Maintaining all laundry equipment and inform Property Manager as to any maintenance needs
  • Refill dispensers and other vanities amenities as needed
  • Wipe services
  • Empty garbage cans

Housekeeping duties

  • Whirlpool operation: Check, monitor and record water conditions every hour manually (conduct chemical addition, backwash filter and add water as needed) according to Ministry of Health regulations. ( Training provided )
  • Attend to new members, member request, cancellations and other concerns
  • Laundry and shoe shine services and sales (if applicable)
  • Tidy up locker room and empty garbage bins as needed
  • Collect dirty towels and restocking the shelves with clean towels.
  • Refill dispensers and other vanities amenities
  • Mop washrooms floor and wipe clean partition panels, sinks and urinals
  • Water hose/clean the shower and wet areas floor & wall tiles
  • Wipe clean mirror, shelves, counters, picture frames and furniture
  • Tidy the long lockers, top of the lockers and shoe shelves as needed
  • Clean a/c and exhaust vents as needed
  • Refill drinking water dispenser as needed
  • Occasionally assist other departments in setting up for their functions and clean up
  • Vacuum change room carpet as needed
  • Clean and sanitize the clinic
  • Clean and restock the Stratus Restaurant washrooms

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Be able to stand for long periods at a time
  • Excellent laundry folding and sorting skills
  • Experience in laundry operation is desirable but not mandatory
  • Ability to lift, push and pull required load (30 lbs.)

Starting wage:
$16.00/hr
