Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for Skid/Crate builders to assist in the packaging of Glass and Architectural Panels for Commercial Buildings. This position is located at our Mississauga Branch which is located at Airport Road and Derry in Mississauga. This position will be reporting to the Crating Foreman.

  • A Day in the Life
  • Build custom wooden skids and crates to accurately fit custom glass and architectural panels.
  • Measure and cut wood accurately using a tape measure.
  • Measure glass and architectural panels accurately using a tape measure.
  • Use a variety of tools such as staple guns and nail guns to put the custom crates together.
  • Operate large machinery such as overhead cranes.
  • What We Are Looking For
  • Previous carpentry experience.
  • Previous experience working with glass or aluminum panels or previous custom crating experience considered an asset.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Experience working in a fast paced, team environment.
