Meat Manager

Responsibilities
- Prepare meat products for sale or for freezing
- Prepare and package meat products for sale or for freezing
- Pack products into boxes or containers according to the packing list
- Calculate and input payments into the cash register when necessary
- Ensure that all inventory is stored properly and properly maintain inventory control
- Keep the work area clean and free of debris and trash
- Assist in processing orders when needed
- Assist in restocking inventory when necessary
- Keep work area clean and free of debris and trash
- Assist in maintaining meat department cleanliness as required by management
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to help meet company goals.
Experience/Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience as a Meat Worker or similar role in a retail or food service setting is preferred, but not required.
- Experience using computer software.
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
- Must be able to communicate clearly with others (i.e. customers, coworkers, etc.)
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours a day.
Salary:
$17.00-$27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
