AWS Cloud Data EngineerLocation:
Mississauga, ONQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Amazon EMR, and EKS.Expertise in Python, Spark, and Hive for large-scale data processing and analytics in a cloud environment.
Solid understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques, with hands-on experience implementing such processes in a cloud environment.Strong proficiency in configuring and managing Amazon EMR and EKS clusters for optimal performance and scalability.
Familiarity with data security and compliance standards, including GDPR, and the ability to implement appropriate security measures.
Experience with cloud ETL tools and services, such as AWS Glue and Amazon Data Pipeline.
Familiarity with version control systems, notably GIT, for managing codebase and facilitating collaborative development.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
