Mott MacDonald Toronto/Vancouver office is seeking a billing coordinator to join the team.

In this position, you will work alongside project managers and clients to produce timely billing for multiple projects throughout the company.


  • Job responsibilities include:
  • Produce accurate and timely billing for projects while understanding the requirements of our contracts
  • Gather supporting documentation, check the information for accuracy, and follow a standard or client specific invoicing format
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and uptodate filling systems for all financial supporting documentation related to billings
  • Perform AR/WIP analysis and follow up with clients/project managers
  • Prepare and perform deposits as required
  • Act as backup for other staff in the accounting department as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Please note that this will be a hybrid position that includes both working from our Vancouver office and remotely
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
  • 35 years' experience working in billing or project accounting for professional services firm
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multitasked and fastpaced environment
  • Strong problem solving skills and maintain accuracy with high attention to detail
  • Be a team player and work well with others
