We are looking for an event coordinator to expand our Canadian Marketing and Communications team.

Reporting to the Event Manager, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to help with the delivery of various events.

Your future duties and responsibilities

  • Create and manage the annual events planning
  • Plan, coordinate and participate in different events (webinars, networking events, conferences)
  • Define and create all the communications assets (writing invitations, building landing pages)
  • Develop new event materials to support the marketing team (event formats, venues book, speakers' guidelines, activities portfolio, industry key events, etc.)
  • Craft and develop promotional activations (social media messages, videos, webpages)
  • Participate in the event production with each project team
  • Monitor the new trends of the event industry (digital and in person)
  • Being creative, always looking for new event trends to create and promote CGI events
  • Creating dynamic content by trying new concepts
  • Organizing multiple events and being part of the onsite set up (when possible)
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

  • You have between 2 and 3 years of experience in the production of customer events
  • You possess exceptional organizational and project management skills, with high attention to detail
  • You're a good problem solver with a gogetter, positive attitude
  • You possess the ability to learn quickly and adapt to situations well in a fast paced, changing environment
  • You get stuff done effectively and meet deadlines (proactive)
  • You are a people person with a demonstrated ability to collaborate and build relationships externally and internally
  • You are able to prioritize and handle a variety of projects simultaneously
  • You have a positive attitude and working on multiple projects at the same time doesn't scare you
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for this position due to the nature of the role requiring interaction with national and global clients.
