Job Description:

  • Prepare, ship, and receive materials
  • Ensure proper construction of pallets and loads
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Unpack, count, and repack returned products for restocking
  • Sort, label, and distribute incoming shipments
  • Report quality discrepancies
  • Support stock control with accurate documentation
  • Confirm completeness of inventory transactions
  • Use lifting equipment (forklifts, hoists, scissor lifts, lifting beams, and swivel hooks)
  • Perform routine inspections on forklifts
  • Maintain an organized work area following safety rules and procedures
  • Participate in yard and facility cleaning
  • Ensure all documents are filled according to standards
  • Perform all other assigned tasks

Requirements:

  • At least one year of experience in a warehouse, shipping service, or yard
  • Prior forklift experience required, valid forklift certification preferred
  • High school diploma
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high precision standards
  • Knowledge of safe lifting and handling procedures
  • Ability to walk and/or stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and move materials and/or supplies weighing over 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform tasks according to occupational health and safety laws
  • Capacity to work independently
  • Ability to determine tools and equipment needed for task completion
  • Effective communication, following, and understanding verbal and written instructions
