Jefo is currently seeking a Senior Communications Advisor.

Job summary


Reporting to the Vice President, Brand & Products, the Senior Communications Advisor is involved in coordinating and carrying out projects for his/her team.

He or she ensures that work deadlines are met and that everything is in place to support teams in carrying out projects.


Main responsibilities

  • Supervise the communications team;
  • Coordinate the media and communications plan and follow up with external partners;
  • Coordinate regular communications between marketing team members and external consultants;
  • Approves communications sent to various targets and media;
  • Ensures that communications are sent on time;
  • Supports the creation of marketing material;
  • Develops and implements content, communication and media deployment strategies;
  • Maintains regular communication with the various territories and keeps abreast of their needs;
  • Coordinates projects with external agencies;
  • Collaborates in the preparation and coordination of sales and corporate meetings;
  • Prepares press releases and internal communications;
  • Performs all other tasks related to the job.

Required studies and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or marketing, or equivalent;
  • Relevant work experience in project coordination: Minimum five (5) years;
  • Relevant work experience in team supervision: Minimum three (3) years.

Skills required

  • Excellent spoken and written French and English, given the international scope of our communications (Spanish is an asset);
  • Impeccable writing and correcting skills (French and English);
  • Proficiency in Office suite software (Power Point, Word and Excel) and Adobe suite software (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat);
  • Experience in the agrifood industry (an asset);
  • Ability to work in a team, manage time and priorities;
  • Approachability and communication skills;
  • Autonomy and professional rigor.
