Position Overview - Our Finance Department is looking for a regular fulltime Financial Analyst to support the treasury and financing area through financial modelling, analysis and regulatory work. The position will also assist with the development of financial strategies and support the annual accounting and reporting process as it relates to treasury services. You will recommend business process improvements and prepare a variety of financial reports and statements and assist other Finance staff as required.
The successful applicant will:
- Think strategically and see work through to completion.
- Solve problems through financial analysis and forecasting and model scenarios for the future.
- Have a sound knowledge of treasury, accounting and reporting principles and practices.
- Be able to prepare a variety of statistical and financial reports using related software.
- Have a passion for performance analysis, treasury management and shaping policy.
- Be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts.
Qualifications
You will have a CPA designation or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience with JD Edwards or an Oracle financial system is an asset.

The pay range for this unionized position is $44.22 to $52.21 per hour (2024 rates)
Hours of Work: 35-hour work week (Compressed work schedule available)
