Are you ready to kickstart your career in finance with an exceptional opportunity? Johnson & Johnson is seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Financial Analyst Intern.

As a Finance/Accounting role located in Markham, ON, Canada, this internship will provide you with world-class training and hands-on experience that will set you up for success in the finance/accounting industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a master list of product codes, pricing, and manufacturing costs, and collaborate with Marketing and the contracts organization to assess tenders, business opportunities, and financial viability.
  • Manage corporate card requests, perform periodic audits, analyze and report on spending insights, billing discrepancies, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and analysis of budget vs. actual results, including identifying risks and offsets vs. budget for the Supply Chain Finance team, in compliance with J&J Worldwide policies.
  • Ensure accurate financial accounting for sales, marketing, and functional departmentrelated expenses, including completing account reconciliations. Adhere to SOX controls.
  • Educate business partners on key finance areas as needed, such as Purchase Orders, cost elements to use, brand Profit & Loss statements, etc.

Qualifications:

  • You are a student in good standing and in the process of achieving or recently completing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Possesses strong Microsoft computer and Excel skills, including financial modeling. SAP experience is a huge plus.
  • Have a strong desire to learn about new technological solutions for financial reporting and accounting and lead projects to implement insights that can result in process efficiencies.
  • Exhibit strong timemanagement skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Be a dynamic teammate who is resourceful and inventive.
  • Have the ability to present complex information and analysis in a concise manner.
  • Be an effective communicator, with strong presentation and influencing skills.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills with proven drive and a willingness to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
