Responsibilities Include:

• A VERY strong understanding of the legal cannabis market and products with a willingness to continue increasing your knowledge.
• Proper execution of operating procedures.
• Engaging with customers as they come through the door and being comfortable to ask each customer for ID that looks 35 and under.
• Working in a teamwork oriented environment but also being able to work by yourself, properly managing time and tasks.
• Reporting to a manager.

Must follow and enforce all store rules as well as regulations laid out by the government regarding sales of recreational cannabis.

• Using a POS System in a high volume retail setting, completing sales transactions from beginning to end.
• Ensuring that the front of house is maintained to be bright, organized and clean, keeping shelves stocked.
• Maintaining a strong knowledge of legal cannabis strains, products, and related cannabis accessories.
• May be required to do deliveries and must follow all procedures related to delivering cannabis
• Ability to assist in creating social media posts and store signage

Job Requirements:

• A valid Selling It Right Certificate
• Previous work experience in the legal cannabis industry preferably in retail
• Microsoft Word and Excel competency
• Retail, cash handling, and Point of Sales experience**:

- minimum 1 year**:

• Customer service experience
  minimum 1 year:
• Drivers license and reliable means of transport
• 
  Required:
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and follow directions
• Experience with social media, specifically Facebook and Instagram is preferred
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including evening and weekends, performing both opening and closing duties
• Proper execution of all government and standard operating procedures, with attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• May require a criminal record/background check

Compensation:

• Fulltime hours/week
• Hourly pay starting between $ $24.00 depending on existing skills and cannabis knowledge
