What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • At least 5 years of FP&A experience, including 2 years at a Manager/ lead level.
  • Must possess strong communication skills (verbal and written), with confidence and ability to communicate variances and recommendations to Regional CFO and President.
  • Highly analytical with attention to detail. Ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers.
  • Intellectually curious, and able to learn the industry with a high level of business acumen.
  • Selfstarter who will take initiative. Independent in work ethic and thought process, needing little direction to execute.
  • Strong Excel skills, including the ability to review/ update financial models and manage large quantities of data.
  • Experience with OneStream Planning and/or modern Financial Planning systems (ex. Hyperion).

Impact You'll Make:


In this role, you'll be responsible for driving stronger focus on costs, influencing, and advising local management on sound financial decisions to enable continued growth.

You'll have the opportunity to be a key contributor of the Canadian Finance team, and serve as an important contributor to short-term initiatives, as well as the long-term strategic direction of the business, by using financial assessments and analysis to influence decisions.

This role is an integral part of the forecasting/budgeting process and provides transparency on the progress on the company's annual operating plans and investments.


  • Develop the quarterly operating expense forecasts and 3yr financial plan required to achieve management's strategic plan.
  • Lead the headcount planning process, collaborating with senior management to execute their targeted organizational structures.
  • Lead the rolling capital forecast process for Canada, engaging with senior management and crossfunctional teams.
  • Provide insights, cost studies, and financial expertise to help company leadership develop long term strategies.
  • Collaborate with FP&A professionals in head office (Chicago) and drive decisions for cost allocation implementation and monitoring.
Prepare materials and lead discussions for financial portions of review meeting, including:

  • Variance explanations.
  • Update forecasts with risks and opportunities to current plan.
  • Provide Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to Senior Leaders.
  • Partner with the business units to produce insightful financial analysis, analyze business drivers, and identify areas of opportunity and risk.
  • Peer coach other members of the FP&A team to ensure cross functional training and associate development.
