JOB DESCRIPTION AND COMPANY INSIGHTS

This exciting opportunity at Galvion is for a skilled HRBP - Director to contribute to our Montreal Headquarters team. The role involves being present in the office for at least 50% of the time, ensuring active engagement in a dynamic work environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Conducting full-cycle recruitment and candidate screening in partnership with our Talent Acquisition Manager, leveraging various methods to attract top talent and foster organizational growth.

- Monitoring and maintaining competitive compensation and benefits policies in alignment with legal standards.

- Overseeing timekeeping and payroll to guarantee timely wage payments to our Canadian employees.

- Collaborating with business leaders to drive effective talent management strategies.

- Cultivating a positive work atmosphere and managing employee relations issues.

- Enhancing employee engagement across the organization in collaboration with the CHRO.

- Advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives.

- Ensuring adherence to federal and provincial labor laws and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken.

- Positive attitude, servant leadership qualities, and 7-10 years of HR experience.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or relevant field.

- In-depth knowledge of employment laws in Ontario and Quebec.

- Strong influencing skills and the ability to drive collaboration and communication at all organizational levels.

- Travel availability to the U.S.

- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Business acumen and service-oriented approach to workforce management.
