Quik's Farm is looking for a qualified Junior Network Administrator Assistant to help tackle the growing technology portfolio for our company.

As part of this position, you will be assisting in the implementation of new software projects as well as maintaining and updating company networks and equipment across various locations within the organization.

As a Junior Network Administrator Assistant, your role will involve providing technical assistance and support to end-users within the organization

Your responsibilities may include:

Primary Responsibilities:

- Troubleshooting: Assisting end-users in diagnosing and resolving technical issues with hardware, software, or network systems. This may involve identifying the root cause of problems, researching solutions, and providing step-by-step instructions for issue resolution.

- Assisting in Software Projects: your role will involve supporting the project manager in planning, coordinating, and executing on-going/new software development projects within the organization. This may involve using project management tools and software to maintain project schedules and documentation.

- System Maintenance: Assisting in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, system backups, and disk clean-up to ensure optimal performance and security of computer systems.


Please note that as a
Junior Network Administrator Assistant, you will work under the supervision and guidance of the
IT Administrator and may be assigned additional tasks and responsibilities based on your skills and the organization's needs from time to time.


Experience/Requirements:

  • Exceptional diagnostic and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and numerical skills.
  • Software Project management experience.
  • Excellent command in Microsoft office packages (Excel, Word, Visio etc.)
  • Proven experience as a Junior Network Administrator Assistant and relevant education.
  • Outstanding organizational and timemanagement skills.
  • In depth knowledge of Diverse Computer Systems, NAS Systems, Networks and Hardware including Printers, Scanners, Photocopiers, Smart phones/Tablets etc.
  • Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Certified IT Technician/ Support Specialist qualifications will be an advantage
