BASIC DUTIES:
Responsible for the daily routine maintenance of all transit vehicles and facility, including performing minor mechanical repairs.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • PERFORM DAILY ROUTINE MAINTENANCE OF ALL TRANSIT VEHICLES AND FACILITY.
  • PERFORM MINOR MECHANICAL REPAIRS AS NECESSARY.
  • FUEL ALL TRANSIT VEHICLES ON A DAILY BASIS.
  • CLEAN ALL TRANSIT VEHICLES INSIDE AND OUT, AS PART OF A REGULAR SCHEDULE.
  • CHECK ALL OIL, COOLANT AND BATTERY LEVELS ON A REGULAR SCHEDULE.
  • REMOVE CASH VAULTS FROM THE FARE BOXES AND TRANSPORT THEM TO THE CITY CASH HANDLING ROOM ON A WEEKLY BASIS.
  • MAINTAIN CLEANLINESS OF STORAGE AREA FLOOR AND BUS WASH.
  • MAKE COACH CHANGE-OFFS WHEN REQUIRED.
  • PARTICIPATE IN TRAINING AS REQUIRED.
  • ADHERE TO ALL CITY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH & SAFETY REGULATIONS AND POLICIES THAT ARE APPLICABLE.
  • RESPONSIBLE TO REPLACE UTILITY PERSON IN THEIR ABSENCE.
  • PERFORM OTHER RELATED DUTIES AS REQUIRED.

COACH ATTENDANT SCHEDULE

  • Monday to Saturday
  • Rotating 5:00 A.M. TO 3:00 P.M. & 3:30 P.M. TO 1.30 A.M.
