Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Frame various types of artwork including paintings, prints, and photographs
  • Consult with clients on framing options to suit their preferences and protect the artwork
  • Measure, cut, and assemble frames using hand tools and power tools
  • Mount artwork securely within frames while ensuring proper alignment
  • Repair and restore damaged frames or artworks as needed

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in art framing or related field
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for framing tasks
  • Knowledge of different framing techniques and materials
  • Attention to detail and precision in framing artwork
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients effectively

Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Experience in restoring damaged frames or artworks
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment (saws) operation for largescale framing projects
  • Ability to build custom frames for unique artwork presentations

Pay:
$17.40-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift

Supplemental pay types:
