What are we looking for?

Your mission as Android mobile developer intern will be to develop new features on BetterSleep in an agile environment. This is a hybrid internship based in Montreal QC working 37.5 hours per week for a period of 4 months starting in September 2024.

Responsibilities
  • Join our Android development team and build the BetterSleep application;
  • Collaborate with the product team to define, design and release new features;
  • Design unit tests for robustness, including edge case, usability and overall reliability;
  • Work on bug fixes and application performance improvements;
  • Continually research, evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements

  • Experience in Kotlin/Java Android development and practical knowledge of mobile in general, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies;
  • Create good knowledge of object-oriented programming;
  • Interest in software development;
  • Attention to detail in front end programming;
  • Interests in learning new languages;
  • Methodical and structured;
  • Good team player;
  • Communication skills;

Ce que nous cherchons

Votre mission en tant que stagiaire en développement mobile android est de développer de nouvelles fonctionnalités sur BetterSleep dans un environnement agile. Il s'agit d'un stage hybride basé à Montréal QC travaillant 37,5 heures par semaine pour une période de 4 mois à partir de septembre 2024.

Responsabilités
  • Concevoir et créer des nouvelles fonctionnalités sur la plate-forme Android de notre application BetterSleep;
  • Collaborer avec l'équipe produit pour définir, concevoir et mettre en ligne de nouvelles fonctionnalités;
  • Concevoir des tests unitaires pour la robustesse, y compris pour les "edge case", la convivialité et la fiabilité générale;
  • Travailler sur la correction des bugs et l'amélioration de la performance des applications;
  • Continuellement rechercher, évaluer et mettre en œuvre de nouvelles technologies afin de maximiser l'efficacité du développement.
Profil
  • Expérience dans le développement Android en Kotlin/Java et connaissance pratique du mobile en général, des architectures, des tendances et technologies émergentes;
  • Soucis du détail en programmation front end;
  • Intérêt pour apprendre de nouveaux langages.
  • Méthodique et structuré;
  • Bon joueur d'équipe;
  • Habileté de communication.
