Responsibilities For Project Coordinator- Support the project manager and superintendent in ensuring overall project success concerning cost, schedule, safety, and quality.
- Coordinate construction activities, plan effectively, identify risks, solve technical issues on-site.
- Conduct and utilize quantity takeoffs and surveys to oversee contract progress, reporting, and change control.
- Cultivate strong relationships with our trade partners through various tasks like tender package distribution, defining scopes of work, and tracking progress.
- Handle the change order process, covering pricing, negotiation, processing, and analyzing cost and schedule impacts.
- Oversee project documentation control, manage requests for information, shop drawings, and submittals.
- Assist in pre-commissioning or commissioning processes.
- Aid in project closeout activities including archiving documents, maintenance, and warranties.
- Lead safety and quality programs proactively.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Thorough understanding of the construction industry, equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, safety, construction sequences, and building codes.
- Apply basic engineering and problem-solving principles to tackle construction challenges effectively.
- Develop comprehensive schedules, administer subcontracts and contract documents efficiently.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Demonstrate exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with a keen ability to adapt to new technologies.
