Your Role

  • Oversee the municipality's operations in a responsible and cost-effective manner
  • Ensure the timely and effective delivery of programs and services
  • Lead a management team and staff in implementing Council decisions
  • Engage, inform, and inspire both Council and staff members
  • Offer progressive policy and strategic advice to Council
  • Manage overall financial aspects and fiscal responsibilities in consultation with the Treasurer

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Public, or Business Administration, or a related municipal field
  • Extensive knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
  • At least eight (8) years of progressive senior municipal experience with strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • Experience in providing strategic leadership and fostering positive relationships in a unionized setting
  • Preferably holding a Certified Municipal Officer (CMO) or equivalent designation
  • Exceptional ability to motivate and guide teams effectively
  • Valid Ontario Class 'G' Driver's License

Annual salary based on established pay band and a 35-hour workweek.
