WHO ARE WE?

Cystic Fibrosis Canada has been instrumental in advancing cystic fibrosis research and care, significantly increasing life expectancy. Founded in 1960, the organization collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance treatments, research, and support for people living with cystic fibrosis. Despite progress, the battle continues as children with cystic fibrosis still face challenges. The organization's ultimate goal is to ensure all individuals with cystic fibrosis can enjoy everything life has to offer.

THE ROLE AND IMPACT:

The Bilingual Program Lead- Healthcare and Community Relations will play a crucial role in executing Cystic Fibrosis Canada's healthcare and advocacy strategies. This position involves managing the helpline, supporting Canadians with CF, and overseeing projects within the healthcare and advocacy realms. Special attention will be given to underserved communities, particularly in Quebec.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of healthcare programs
  • Lead strategic projects and initiatives
  • Engage with clinicians and communities
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and events
  • Handle program reports and resources
  • Provide logistical support for meetings and events
