  • Completion of a MDR course from a recognized College
  • One year experience in a Medical Device Reprocessing department preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
  • Demonstrated organizational skills, communication (written and verbal), and the ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Demonstrated knowledge of infection control, medical terminology, decontamination, aseptic technique, hospital supplies and distribution system
  • Demonstrated ability to operate various pieces of equipment
  • Communicate in a respectful, tactful and sensitive manner with patients, staff and physicians
  • Must have demonstrated ability to meet the attendance standards of the Hospital
  • Bilingualism is an asset
