Hiring Unit:

  • Department of Biology_

Position Summary:

  • Provides lab support for teaching labs in Biology department;
  • Prepares and cleans lab benches;
  • Labels lab materials (pipette tips; tubes, etc);
  • Cleans glassware;
  • Loads and unloads autoclave, dishwasher.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities- Attention to detail;- Available to work Monday to Friday;- Experience with teaching labs or lab settings;- Knowledge of good lab practices;- Experience with lab equipment: PCR, centrifuges, autoclaves, dishwashers, etc) is an asset.- First aid training and WHMIS is an asset;- Education in biology or related field;- 1-2 years of experience working in a lab.

  • High School Diploma
  • Hourly Salary:
