JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking residential building caretaker.
This is an entry-level caretaking position. It is ideal for experienced cleaners who are looking to gain caretaking experience.
-
Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day (8am-4pm)

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect and litter pick both inside and outside of the buildings
  • Meet trades people and give them access to service areas
  • Mopping hard surfaced flooring
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping all common areas, including amenities room
  • Elevator cleaning, including tracks
  • Keep garbage room tidy
  • Painting, sanding, and general surface maintenance.
  • Door repairs, including hinges, handles, and locks.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Experienced with handyman duties is a must.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable to effectively communicate with Mandarinspeaking residents.
  • Customer service experience is an asset
  • Effective verbal and written communication in English
  • Ability to deal with residents in a professional, positive, and friendly manner
  • Must be able to work independently with mínimal supervision

Pay:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

  • French not required

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Experience:

- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

  • Caretaker: 1 year (preferred)
