The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a
Management Consultant to join our
Transformation Office team in
Toronto. This is a
permanent position.

As a Management Consultant, you will be responsible providing support to the Executive Vice President on a range of strategic and administrative matters, including executive communications, speech writing, research, developing dashboards, consolidating reports, and managing critical action plans

Additionally, in this position you will

  • Provide technical support to clients, to ensure Routine Management
  • Daily meetings, KPIs breakdown, Deviation Analysis
  • Support existing and execute follow up with the Leadership Team members.
  • Capture Actions and Consolidate Reports that are critical for the BM Business.
  • Monitor the results of the operational areas, through performance indicators, to identify gaps in the management of their processes.
  • Capture new demands from within and outside of the Organization and guaranteeing alignment with the BM Transformation Program
  • Serve as liaison between staff and senior leaders, regarding project updates, proposals, and schedule planning throughout the year.
  • Manage the Base Metals Schedule weekly, monthly and quarterly to avoid conflicts.
  • Recommend optimal Agile practices tailored to the client. Facilitate sprint road mapping, planning sessions and retrospectives. Support the triage and resolution of critical impediments.
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and dashboards to make problems visible and clear to the BM Sr Leadership Team.
  • Facilitate recurring meetings, track actions, and follow up on planning across Base Metals, Vale, and the regions.

About You

Education**:

  • Master's degree is required
  • MBA (recent grad) is preferred

Skills and Experience:

  • 5 7 years of relevant experience
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to create networks and relationships with stakeholders
  • Creative problem solver and able to respond to various situations with appropriate urgency
