Job Description

Civeo Water Canada Employees LP is looking for proactive Level 2 & 3 Water and Wastewater Operators to join their team at Beaver River Executive Lodge (BREL)/Athabasca Lodge, just 49 km north of Fort McMurray. This is a full-time position reporting to the Utilities Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure certifications and safety training are current.
  • Follow all Civeo policies, procedures & safety guidelines.
  • Operate and monitor process equipment including pumps, motors, compressors, screens, membranes, and chemical pumps.
  • Analyze control and lab data to make adjustments for efficient processing.
  • Mentor Junior operators.
  • Monitor Potable water systems daily and inspect sewage Lift-stations weekly.
  • Conduct flow rate and chemical pump calculations as needed.
  • Perform lab tests for process optimization.
  • Record and interpret operation data.
  • Provide reports to incoming Shift Relief Operations personnel.
  • Perform plant maintenance tasks.
Qualifications:
  • Level 2 or 3 certification in Water and Wastewater Treatment.
  • 3-5 years' experience in the industry.
  • Valid class 5 driver's license with clean 5-year record.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Great communication skills.
  • Focus on safety, quality work, and environmental awareness.
  • Flexible with a 14 days on and 14 days off schedule.
