Position Summary_**The Project Coordinator will lead the project coordination for critical infrastructure, telecommunication design/build projects. Projects are centered around DC Power, electrical and HVAC infrastructure supporting customer's requirements. Responsibilities include client meetings, project planning, equipment selection and logistics, on-site management, and project closeouts.

Responsibilities:

  • Refine scope of work and detail sub contracts
  • Prepare customer proposals
  • Manage multiple projects in various stage of activities
  • Prepare and monitor project budgets
  • Participate in engineering process to control cost and client budget requirements of project
  • Develop project schedule and monitor/update as project progresses
  • Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation superintendents and trades people
  • Provide specific expertise for problem solving
  • Provide technical evaluation of subcontractor and equipment proposals
  • Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents.
  • Coordinate completion of construction activities.
  • Prepare punch list to ensure the readiness of systems for turnover to the clients
  • Coordinate job site activities with various trades and assure health and safety measures compliance.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in critical infrastructure or construction project management
  • Ability to read and understand scope of work and eng drawings
  • Willingness to travel 50% of time
  • Strong communication skills
  • Winning mentality and team player
  • Preferred: experience with data centers and networking facilities

Travel:

  • Up to 50% travel
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the company insurance policy.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
