The Opportunity:

Required Shifts:

Monday to Friday, Day Shift

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise and lead the prepress team.
• Work cohesively with customer service and production to ensure customer expectations and production targets are met.
• Responsible for new hire process and decisions including initial and ongoing training of new hires
• Responsible for resolving any issues such as but not limited to team member conflicts, vacations, illness etc.
• Perform disciplinary actions and or reviews with your team members in regards to productivity, accuracy, attitude, and attendance in accordance with Stanpac policies.
• Assist in troubleshooting when a challenge is beyond the scope of knowledge of the team member.
• Take initiative in making necessary and informed decisions based on facts and findings when needed.
• Comply with current Stanpac safety regulations while in plant area
• Ensure all your team members receive proper and adequate training
• Ensure all team members follow procedures.
• Distribute and delegate workload effectively to ensure customer satisfaction and production targets are met
• Interact effectively with all managers and supervisors within other departments.
• Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, and GMPs as it relates to a packaging environment
• Other duties as assigned.

Do You Have What It Takes?

Required Education:

• Post-Secondary Education; Graphic Design degrees preferred

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a prepress role.

Skill, Knowledge and Abilities

• Proficient in all prepress programs and processes.
• Strong communication skills, written and oral
• Strong leadership abilities
• Good problem solving, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize
• Positive attitude with a focus on the internal/external customer
• Excellent people skills
• Ability to adapt to ever changing situations
• Comfortable in a fast paced and at times stressful environment
