Le titulaire est responsable de gérer des employés syndiqués et de la gestion des activités de production, en appliquant la convention collective et les normes de Santé et Sécurité.

**Responsabilités Principales**:

- Supervision quotidienne des opérations ;
- Applique et s'assure que tous les travaux sont effectués selon les normes de la Santé et Sécurité et environnement ;
- Dirige les employés dans un environnement syndiqué en appliquant la convention collective et les politiques du manuel de l'employé ;
- Organise la main d'œuvre requise pour son département, en lien avec les besoins opérationnels tel que les commandes et expéditions prioritaires ;
- Calculer les quantités de stock et de fournitures nécessaires aux opérations en fonction des calendriers de production. Demande des matériaux à partir de la zone de stockage pour répondre aux spécifications des clients;
- Coordonner les inspections de contrôle de la qualité pour vérifier la conformité aux spécifications standard;
- Travail avec le gestionnaire de production à établir ou ajuster les procédures de travail afin d'améliorer l'efficacité du travail d'équipe et pour respecter les calendriers de production;
- Établir des recommandations dans la planification des cédules de production ;
- Faire des recommandations, participer à l'élaboration et mettre en œuvre des mesures visant à améliorer les méthodes de production, les exigences environnementales, le rendement du matériel et la qualité du produit;
- Analyser et résoudre les problèmes de travail ou aider les travailleurs à résoudre les problèmes de travail;
- Communique avec le département des ventes ;
- S'assure du respecter les délais de livraison ;
- Joue un rôle prépondérant durant les prises d'inventaire physique ;
- Assure de ou donne la formation aux employés lorsque requis ;
- Donne assistance et /ou remplace les autres superviseurs à l'occasion;
- Coordonne les vacances et vérifie les heures de paies pour ses employés à l'aide du système Dayforce;
- Effectue toute autre tâche connexe.

**Qualifications**:

- Diplôme d'études secondaires
- Minimum 2 à 5 ans d'expérience en supervision
- Expérience dans un milieu syndiqué, un atout
- Formation SIMDUT, un atout
- Langues: Maitrise du français parlé et écrit. Maitrise de l'anglais parlé (un atout)
