  • Reports to the Plant Superintendent or such other person assigned to be their supervisor by LiteZone;
  • Performs the work assigned by the Plant Superintendent to fabricate and assemble parts using a variety of materials, tools, equipment, and devices;
  • Performs using the manufacturing processes assigned by the Plant Superintendent;
  • Works to precise specifications and with consistent quality;
  • Strives to work safely, competently, and cooperatively as a team member;
  • Strives to achieve daily/weekly/monthly production objectives;
  • Communicates to the Plant Superintendent any issues preventing the achievement of the production objectives;
  • Complies with LiteZone's manufacturing procedures, practices, training, and quality standards at each workstation and for each manufacturing process;
  • Identifies issues with production efficiency and product quality, and suggests improvements;
  • Follows LiteZone's procedures to ensures proper storage and security of manufacturing materials and supplies;
  • Complies with LiteZone's policies and procedures to ensure the safe use, cleaning and storage of equipment and tools;
  • Complies with LiteZone's occupational health and safety policies, procedures, and practices;
  • Complies with LiteZone's standards and policies relevant to the manufacturing operations, including with respect to employee workplace activities, attendance, breaks, and hours of work;
  • Contributes to a company culture of mutual respect, honesty, thriving trust relationships, best practices, continuous improvement, prudent risk management and company pride;
  • Complies with LiteZone's policies and procedures to ensure the manufacturing facility is consistently well organized, clear of debris, and the floor is kept clean;
  • Performs other duties as may be directed by their supervisor;
  • Could pass a criminal record check. Can work in a facility with a concrete floor. Can occasionally lift 50 lbs. Can climb a ladder.

Compensation
- $17 to $22 per hour to start, depending on qualifications and experience

  • Employee benefit package after 300 hours of work (about 2 months)
  • We are an OpenCircle company (formerly MERIT Contractors' Association)
  • Onsite parking is free; ETS available and NEW LRT Valley Line is near
  • Footware required is CSA approved green triangle; all other PPE provided
  • Coffee, tea, hot chocolate and reverse osmosis water are provided
